This template has been created to capture all your sermons, bible studies, devotions, and daily reading study notes. Years of study can easily get lost when there isn’t an organized, systematic approach to managing and maintaining your work. Leveraging the capabilities of Notion with years of my own bible study and sermon preparation has been a great blessing and help to my own progress as a student of scripture. I hope it is useful to you as well!
As with most Notion templates, it is important to keep all the database relations in tact or the template will not function as designed. That said, once you are comfortable with the way the template works, and you feel confident in making changes, feel free to tailor the template to your specific use. It is a good idea to make a backup of this template before you start using it, in case you need to restore it, or reference it as you make desired changes.
There is a very small sample of data included in the template so you can see how the template works. Before you begin using this with your own data, create several new sermons, bible studies, etc. and get comfortable with the way the template runs. Once you get your bearings, simply delete all the entries from each database and begin using it with your own content. You might consider bringing in (manually) some entries from previous studies to populate the template with your data as well.
